Privacy policy

The short version

This site is operated by Buyer Mining LLC, a Colorado limited liability company. We collect only what you enter when you book a call and what you email us. There are no user accounts, no advertising trackers, and no analytics cookies. We do not sell personal information, ever.

Information we collect

• The free AI Readability Check: three things. You type a domain, our server fetches that site's public files, and the result goes straight back to your browser. There is no form and we never ask for your email. We keep a log of the domain, the score, and the date, and nothing else: no address, no result detail, nothing that says who ran the check. We use it to see which sites have been checked before a call. To be exact rather than flattering, the domain also travels in the request URL, so it appears in the standard request logs our host keeps, the same as any page you visit here.
• Bookings: calls are booked through a Google Workspace appointment page. The name, email, phone and website you enter when booking are stored in our calendar and used to prepare for the call. Google processes the booking under its own terms.
• Email: whatever you choose to include when you write to us.
• Hosting logs: Vercel hosts this site and may process standard request and operational log information to serve it.

How we use it

To prepare for the call you booked, run the work you ordered, deliver the results, send the one follow-up we promise, take payment for paid work, and answer your email. There is no newsletter and no drip sequence on this site. The free AI Readability Check needs no email address, so it cannot put you on a list. The AI Shortlist Peek keeps what you typed (a service, a town, and optionally a domain) only for the length of the request. It is sent to Anthropic's API to ask the question, and we keep no log of it. The Buyer Question Finder works the same way: what you typed goes to the model once and nothing is kept. The page score, the comparison and the platform check keep the domains, the result and the date, the same as the readability check. The proof wall reads those logs back and shows scores and dates only, never a domain. The badge runs the readability check for the domain it is asked about, at most once a day, and keeps nothing else. Score Watch is the one place we keep an email: the domain, the email you give, the score and the date, used for one thing, telling you when the score drops. Reply "stop" to any alert and the row is deleted. It is not a mailing list.

Who else touches it

The complete list, so you do not have to guess:

• Vercel hosts the site and processes standard request logs.
• Notion holds our client records: which product you bought, dates, what was delivered, and the free-check log described above. It never holds your login details, your card, or anything from your own customer systems.
• Google Workspace holds our email and the appointment page you book a call through.
• Anthropic and Perplexity receive your business name, website and market context as queries while a Snapshot is being measured. That is the measurement itself, and how we use AI explains it in full. It applies only to paid work you have ordered, never to the free check.
• Stripe takes card payments and runs the billing portal. Your card number goes to Stripe, never to us; we see your name, email, billing address and what you paid for. Stripe processes it under its own privacy policy.

We do not use any other analytics, advertising, email marketing, chat or customer-data service. If that changes, this list changes with it before the service goes live.

How long we keep it

• Free AI Readability Check log (domain, score, date): 24 months, then deleted. The result itself is never stored.
• Booking and email records: 24 months from our last exchange, then deleted.
• Delivered client reports and the evidence behind them: 24 months, so a later re-measure can be compared honestly against the first one. Ask us and we will delete yours sooner.
• Client credentials given to us for Setup or a Care plan: kept in a password manager, one vault per client, and destroyed when the engagement ends.
• Host request logs: on Vercel's own retention schedule, not ours.

Where it goes

We are a United States business serving United States clients, and everything described here is processed in the United States. We do not target the European Union or the United Kingdom. If you are writing to us from outside the US, understand that your message is stored in the US.

Children

This is a service sold to businesses. It is not directed to anyone under 16 and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

The analysis itself

Our reports are built from public data only: your public website, public AI-engine answers, and public third-party sources. We do not ask for, and you should not send us, protected health information or other sensitive personal data about your clients.

Cookies and tracking

This site sets no cookies at all. No behavioral advertising, no third-party analytics, no pixels, and nothing that would need a consent banner, which is why you did not get one. Fonts are served from this domain rather than from Google's font CDN, so loading a page here does not hand your IP address to anyone else. The one thing kept on your machine is your reading settings (theme, text size, easier type) in your own browser's local storage; they never leave your device and we never see them. Clearing your browser data clears them. The Google appointment page we link to for booking a call operates under Google's own terms.

Your choices

Whatever state or country you are in, you can ask us to show you what we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or send you a copy you can take elsewhere. Email hello@buyermining.com. We answer within 30 days, usually the same week, and we do not charge for it or make you create an account to ask. We will not treat you differently for asking.

We do not sell personal information and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, so there is nothing here for you to opt out of.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. Material changes will be noted plainly here.
